The inauguration of the Arch Angel Center for Arts and
Culture was attended by many advocates of Gawad Kalinga including online and
traditional media practitioners, businessmen, interns from France and other
countries, distinguished Cabinet Secretaries, local TV personalities and even
the Presidential Sister Viel Aquino.
The partnership of Gawad Kalinga and the Angelo King
Foundation started back in 2006 to build livelihood centers in different Gawad
Kalinga communities all over the country. From there, the vision and advocacy
of Gawad Kalinga and its battle of “Walang Iwanan” has been very close to
Archie King’s heart. There were also lots of exhibitors during the event to promote the products that can be produced from the Enchanted Farm.

Dragon Fruit plant
In case you want to buy dragon fruit plant, they are also available in GK Enchanted Farm. They are not difficult to culture and grow. Buy in GK because Dragon Fruits are quite pricey when sold in the market.

The Arch Angel Center for Arts and Culture in the Gawad
Kalinga Enchanted Farm was built last 2013 in partnership with Victoria Court
and Hotel La Corona to celebrate the Spirit of Bayanihan and the Miracles of
Solidarity. Here, Gawad Kalinga holds various summits and talks about
social-economic issues and provides talented speakers and professionals to
share their knowledge.
Victoria Court CEO Archie King delightfully congratulates
Gawad Kalinga and the people behind the institution for its success for the
past 11 years. He also said that he is very much inspired by the leadership and
is amazed by the volunteerism of everyone who makes the village a reality.
As Gawad Kalinga embarks on its 2nd phase of development,
the Arch Angel Center for Arts and Culture serves as a reminder of the
sacrifice and heroism of everyday Filipinos who contribute in nation building.
Aside from the inauguration of the Arch Angel Center for
Arts & Culture, there were simultaneous events that happened. The talk of
Tony Meloto with the SEEDS scholars, business summit in Hyundai Center,
exhibits around the whole enchanted farm and our tour in the 32-hectare
enchanted farm.

Bamboo Palace Pavilion
I was curious about the bamboo palace signage here. I am wondering how it looks like. Intriguing! On our way to the Bamboo Palace, I sighted beautiful flowers that are edible. We tried eating some cosmos.
Beauty!!!
Bamboo Shoots!!!
Inside the Bamboo Palace Pavilion
Well according to the tour guide, Bamboo Palace can be rented. The rate depends on how many people will be accommodated but as per him, it's Php40, 000 per 100 pax. Food is included already. And then, we went to the Bayanihan Economics building.

Gawad Kalinga Enchanted Farm experience is such an awesome experience not only because of the joy it brought to everyone during the event and all but more importantly is its advocacy. The advocacy of the foundation of Archie King and Gawad Kalinga is such an inspiration to everyone as it is a big help for our fellow Filipinos to be successful in their lives. Thumbs up!
