August. 29, 2014 – Araneta Center Inc. in partnership with
Megaworld Corporation uncovered Manhattan Garden City’s most significant
landmark yet, the transfer pavilion called as “The Link”.
Eight years ago, Araneta Center Inc. partnered with Megaworld Corporation to concretize a development plan of redesigning the historical Araneta Center by building an inner cityscape with a more upscale, vibrant genre of lifestyle. These visualizations of the parties gave birth to Manhattan Garden City which is an 18-tower development conceived to be a grand, New York style themed residential community. Also, the MGC boasts to be the Philippines’ biggest residential development and serves to complete the residential component of the Araneta Center layout wherein entertainment, retails and business flourish.

A traditional ribbon cutting ceremony by our recognized
guests took place. It was shortly followed by the unveiling of the phrases
which represent “The Link”, wherein “Bridging Traditions” stand for the legacy
of the Araneta Center as one of our country’s historically significant
entertainment locus. “Connecting Lives” simply means that this concourse functions
as a central lobby that bridges two phases of the development together- the
three- tower Manhattan Parkview and the three- tower Manhattan Parkway. It also
links the Manhattan Garden City’s towers all the way to the Gateway Mall, the
Smart Araneta Coliseum and to the mass transport systems. Each resident will
live in the exclusive charm and notion of not having to set foot on lower
ground, thus magnifying the exclusivity of the Manhattan feel in their
community for the rest of their stay. Lastly, “Changing Lifestyles” signifies
the historical link of how the Araneta Center together with Megaworld
Corporation solidified visions their and progressively turned them into grand,
luxurious abodes. The night proceeded with a scrumptious buffet dinner served
by Eastwood Richmonde Hotel. A special guest from the noontime show A.S.A.P.,
Princess Velasco serenaded the guests with her soulful voice.

“The Link” is not only a physical connection or entry point
of these residential facades and commercial hubs; it also signifies a
historical link of how the Araneta Center continuously progressed through the
years—a convergence of celebrated traditions and lifestyles. Soon it will
ignite the celebration of life of its future dwellers. For more information
