"Four Themes. Four Restaurants. One Delicious Tour."
We were able to get a preview of what to expect on the BGC Eats this year. We visited three of the many fine dining outlets in the city and I was one lucky foodie to experience the tour.
We first visited Gustare Kitchen.
The place.
Well, Gustare is not your usual restaurant where you can walk in and order a meal. It's more like a venue to hold events and what have you. In all fairness, the place is cozy and very intimate which I really like. The lighting is awesome too. The place is really relaxing.
Welcome to Gustare Kitchen!
The owner of Gustare welcoming her guests.
The food.
Gustare Kitchen prepared 3 desserts for the media people. The classic meringue, canonigo and my favorite out of the three -- calamansi sansrival.
Meringue -- P150
Canonigo -- P600
Calamansi Sansrival -- P ?
To tell you honestly, if I was the only one in that kitchen, I can finish all those. Sweet tooth here! I seriously cannot stop eating meringue kisses. I just love the way it tastes. Canonigo is also delicious. The presentation is excellent and the taste is even better. And my top 1 is the calamansi sansrival. I really can't stop myself from eating it. It just tastes so divine. Al dente! I wish I can eat more of it but we need to go to our next stop which is Prost Braumeister.

2nd Stop: Prost Braumeister
The place.
My boss is a German so based on my experience, I know how much they love beer so I am expecting they will fill our tummies with beer, whiskey and all. However, I was wrong. Thank God! What they prepared for us was awesome and should I say expensive? Ha!
Goulash -- P220
Spatzle - P220
Sausages -- P350
Nurnberger Spiral -- P950
Well actually, they prepared 5 dishes but I was not able to taste Rosti. Anyhoo, Goulash suppe is the bomb! It is made up of corned beef, hungarian sausage, potatoes and stewed tomatoes. It is one of my favorite. It really tastes good as in bongga! If I were a coach on The Voice and Goulash was singing, I will turn for it. HaHa! Spatzle was just OK for me. The taste is so minty. I will compare it to the taste of pesto with a hint of mint. Tadaah! Sausage platter is also excellent. The sausages are so meaty and tasty. And they are really humongous. This is good for the people with big appetite. And the well-presented Nurnberger spiral though it might look like a poop in the photo but trust me, the way it tastes is way way better than its looks.

And then we headed to the Mind Museum..
3rd Stop: Mind Museum
We weren't able to explore Mind Museum because the venue was on the lobby. Anyhoo, the last stop was about The Apocalypse Project. The challenge is for the chef to prepare a dish that we might eat fast forward to 2050 as the "imagined future" is under climate change. The creativity and resourcefulness of the chef was triggered and so they came up with their own version of "future feast".
